I've looked at a lot of related issues, but to no effect. Full disclosure, this is the first time I've dual-booted in 10 years, and I'm out of practice with linux anyway.

First off, my boot-repair log: http://paste.ubuntu.com/p/Z2hsPvxHSw/

I have had Windows 10 for some time, but I have 4 drives in my comp. One has Windows, one I emptied and installed Ubuntu 18 on, the last 2 are a Raid 0 array.

Ubuntu install went fine, booted up great, but I got no GRUB, and no way to select my windows install to boot. I tried to boot to my other disks and found out that BIOS is a thing of the past and now I'm actually using UEFI, but I know almost nothing about that. So when I try to boot directly to the drive I get "BOOTMGR NOT FOUND" and have to restart.

I've tried boot-repair, obviously, to no avail, and I've tried switching back to legacy grub, but I'm not positive I succeeded in that, as I was doing a lot of copypasta.
What am I missing here? I'm getting desperate.

I'm voting to close this question as off-topic because this is a Windows problem.

  • I won't argue too hard, since I'm not intimately familiar with where this StackExchange draws domains, but since Ubuntu ought to have overridden the Windows Bootloader with GRUB, and GRUB is not being offered, it seems more like a 'nix question than a windows question
