I've made a slight modification in my user-dirs.dirs file by changing the line XDG_DESKTOP_DIR="$HOME/Documents" to XDG_DESKTOP_DIR="$HOME/doc"; but now my entire home-folder is empty except for the ~/doc directory. Is there a way to recover the lost directories?
