Authentication password changed?

I 'm a new user and a noob so I need some help. When I installed linux mint 18.3, I set a password. Then I changed the admin of the device but the old password isn't accepted. Any thoughts?

Hello, and welcome to the U&L stack exchange site. Please edit your post to include more information. What do you mean by changed admin? By old password do you mean the original admin account?
