Is there a way to set coloring for “cd tab” complete on macOS?
Clash Royale CLAN TAG#URR8PPP
I have turned on coloring, set colored-stats on
in my ~/.inputrc
but still not working,
here is a screenshot, first one, cd tab
& second is ls tab
bash terminal osx alias inputrc

ls -G
prints with color on <enter>, even justls
prints it with color on <enter>, it's just the <tab> that isn't printing/show completion with color

Ah, misread your question, thought the second part was the output ofls
.

This is for inside bash only, so If I typebash <enter>
in terminal, it opens a new shell inside my terminal and then if i typecd
orls <tab>
then the output is with color but if i do it outside that shell in normal terminal window then it is without color for some reason which is weird.
