Currently in my remote machine the /etc/default/locale
sets only LANG
, so even if my SSH forwards LANG
and LC_*
, it would be overridden to the LANG
in default locale. LC_*
variables works as expected. I want the LANG
set by SSH daemon to have higher priority than the default locale, so that
- if I forwarded
LANG
andLC_*
, use it; - if I didn't forward any
LANG
andLC_*
, use the one in/etc/default/locale/
.
In case it matters, IâÂÂm in Debian Stretch.
