RHEL 7.4 - Laptop randomly wakes up from suspend mode

Laptop: ThinkPad P50



OS: RHEL 7.4



GUI: MATE



I noticed that my computer randomly wakes up from suspend mode, either when I close the lid or when I manually suspend it from the system menu. It happens both when the laptop is running on battery and when plugged in.



I looked at /var/log/messages and it looks like some suspend actions are only happening after the computer wakes up - not sure if something is going on or if maybe the logging of the messages (not the actions themselves) was interrupted by sleep and then written after wake-up. Other than that I can't find a pattern or reason why the computer is waking up:
