How to extract audio file with thumbnail from MP4 video?

This extracts AAC audio from MP4 files:

for file in *.mp4
do
 ffmpeg -i "$file" -acodec copy "$file%.mp4.m4a"
done

This extracts frame 100 from each of them:

for file in *.mp4
do
 ffmpeg -i "$file" -vf "select=gte(n,100)" -vframes 1 "$file%.mp4.png"
done

There seem to be several ways to add a thumbnail to m4a files. Is it possible to combine these, to add thumbnails to the AAC files from a specific frame in each input file as they are created?
