Leopoldo Cantancio (July 6, 1963 – April 20, 2018) was a Filipino boxer who competed for his native country at two Summer Olympics: 1984 and 1988. His best result was a fifth place tie at the 1984 Summer Olympics in the Men's Lightweight (– 60 kg) division. He won a silver medal at the 1986 Asian Games and a bronze medal at the 1990 Asian Games.[1]


He died on April 20, 2018 due to a motorcycle crash in Bago.[2] He was 54[3] and was driving home to Bago from Bacolod after coaching a team in the Panaad Boxing Tournament.[1]
