I am new to linux world. I have installed Oracle Linux 7.0 on virtualBox for installing Oracle database. While I was doing yup update, suddenly I saw error pop-up "oops, something is wrong. Please logout". I logged out and machine went down(shutdown). When I try to start it, I can see one more kernel added now i.e oracle linux 7.4.
However,I selected Unbreakable linux kernel as I used to do it before but now my linux it not getting started. It is getting hung with blank Screen. Tried selecting oracle linux 7.4 kernel as well but it is showing different error. Details : Host OS - Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnamon Guest OS - Oracle Linux 7 Virtualization Tool : Oracle Virtual Box.
Please help me get through this issue.
linux-kernel yum reboot oracle-linux oracle-database
