notebook halts after suspended mode

there is a problem i have with Linux mint 18.2 xfce on fresh notebook Lenovo IdeaPad 110-14IBR. sometimes after i choose Suspend mode and restore work with notebook opening all system halts and only power off button works. can it be software or hardware problem? is there some way to understand what causes this problem?
