DWM Mod4Mask not working (changing left alt to windows/super key)

Followed this guide on DWM's official website and also this guide and I couldn't manage to get the super/windows button to work instead of the default mod1/left alt.



Using a British keyboard layout on a Thinkpad T410 running Debian if that makes any difference.



My config.h is the same as my config.def.h except the line of



#define MODKEY Mod1Mask


which I changed to



#define MODKEY Mod4Mask
