I want to deploy openstack with nested virtualization enabled. Here is the scenatio, on bare metal I have one VM running as the host of openstack 7 VMs (KVM), and with the KVM VM I have one compute VM running.

I have achieved the half of the goal, I mean I have deployed the openstack successfully on my environment, but it slows down after approx. 12 hours and I need to destroy all the vms and start them again, and then everything works fine again.

I am using Ubuntu 16.04 OS, have 128 GB of RAM and 48 physical cores, I have tried overcommitting the CPUs with CPU pinning but that simplly didn't work.

Note: Current CPU model is host-passthrough, I have tried host-model which didn't work for me.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. And please let me know if any more information is needed.,
