I'm running an apt mirror server for an isolated network, which successfully mirrors Debian, Ubuntu and a number of apt-based repositories using the debmirror utility (v2.27).

Unfortunately the script syntax that I've crafted using debmirror does not work for download.docker.com.
I've tried a number of different approaches without success. I find it odd that I can get it to work on a wide range of sites, but not download.docker.com.

Here is a command for debmirror that I've been trying to use:

/usr/bin/debmirror -a amd64
--nosource
-s stable
-h download.docker.com
-d xenial,bionic
-r /linux/ubuntu
--timeout=180
--progress
--method=http
--proxy=http://<internal proxy>:3128
--keyring=/<path to GPG>
/<mirror folder>

I've also tried using https, without success.

The errors I get generally come back as something like this:

GET http://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu/dists/bionic/Release ==> 301 Moved Permanently (1s)

It may be a peculiarity of the Internet proxy I'm using, but it seems like it might be a bug with how debmirror is handling this site (through my proxy)?

Is anybody else able to get this to work via debmirror with or without a proxy?

Note: I am able to download individual files from the mirror via wget and I am also able to successfully mirror the site using apt-mirror. It is only with debmirror that I am seeing issues.
