Wanted to get Linux Mint KDE 18.2 64-bit, cause I like this graphic interface. Downloaded ISO from the official website; then created LiveUSB using Universal USB Installer.

Everything was ok, no errors. Booting from USB on laptop(Lenovo v570c) the same. But during installation I have an error:

grub-efi-amd64-signed failed installation /target/ Mint 18.2

  • Did you enable internet installation? Some user's had this problem and it was solved by allowing internet access to the installer. Also make sure you have the EFI System Partition created.

  • I've done it offline and online. I've done it with manual partition created(I've done EFI there only) and with automatic.
